Extinction (2015)

It's been a decade since a strange disease started transforming humans into beastly creatures, and the survivors have had to come to terms with life in a broken world. Lu, Patrick, and Jack have found some sort of stability. The snowy town they live in seems largely unbothered by the threat as long as they're careful, but there's a simmering resentment between Jack and Patrick. They're staying together to protect their 11-year old ward, but it's clearly only a matter of time before the two are at violent odds. When they discover that the creatures they believed to be dead are still out there, survival becomes harder.
