The Chaser (2008)

Joong-ho's decisions to take bribes as a cop led to his suspicion and his eventual descent into life as a petty pimp, but that doesn't mean that he's completely without virtue. When Joong-ho discovers that girls in the neighborhood are going missing at an alarming rate, he knows that the police aren't going to do anything about it. The man he believes responsible for the killings is in police custody, but he'll be released in 12 hours without any more evidence. That gives Joong-ho half a day to stage an investigation and keep a psychopathic killer off the city's streets.
