In the heart of New Orleans, the vibrant Mardi Gras festivities are shadowed by a chilling killing spree. Mike Turner, a seasoned detective, finds himself entangled in a baffling case involving a man who has bartered his soul for demonic power. The ruthless killer, now an indestructible demon, leaves behind a gruesome tableau of bodies that seem to inch closer to Mike's personal life with each strike.
As the city of jazz and jambalaya is plunged into terror, the demon issues a sinister ultimatum - stop him before the end of Mardi Gras or forfeit his soul. With the clock ticking, Mike is aided by his wise police captain, who harbors memories of the demon from a previous Mardi Gras, and a mysterious voodoo lady, whose cryptic insights appear to be the key to the demon's destruction.
