Plot

In "Never Wave at a WAC," Jo McBain, a charmingly spoiled socialite and daughter of influential Senator Tom Roberts, decides to take a leap of faith into the disciplined world of the Women's Army Corps (WACs). Her underlying motive is far from patriotic - she merely hopes to be closer to her suave boyfriend, Lt. Colonel 'Sky' Fairchild, who resides in Paris. However, her well-intentioned father, believing that a dose of military discipline might do her good, unknowingly foils her plans. Instead of the romantic rendezvous in Paris she had envisioned, Jo finds herself knee-deep in the rigors of basic training at Fort Lee, Virginia. Her companions in this unfamiliar landscape include an ex-burlesque queen, Clara, formerly known as '"Danger" McDowd,' who adds a dash of color and unexpected friendship to Jo's journey. As Jo grapples with the stark realities of Army life, her world takes another unexpected turn. Her suave ex-husband, Andrew McBain, breezes into Fort Lee, wielding his influence as a military consultant. A classic love triangle ensues - Andrew, still smitten, wants to rekindle their romance, while Fairchild is simply intent on winning Jo's heart. To add to her woes, Andrew uses his position to further disrupt her plans, landing her in a group of WACs testing new equipment. "Never Wave at a WAC" is a whirlwind of romance, comedy, and unexpected self-discovery. As Jo navigates her way through the trials of Army life, viewers are left to wonder - Will she manage to find her way to Paris, or will her heartstrings be tugged in an entirely different direction?
