In the hushed quietude of midnight, an inconspicuous truck, a clandestine vessel of the Ellemeet Industry, hurtles through the deserted labyrinth of Killendoorn's streets. Its mission: the covert disposal of barrels brimming with toxic waste. However, fate intervenes in the form of a cat, causing the driver to swerve and lose a barrel. The feline, driven by its intrinsic curiosity, samples the strange-smelling liquid, leading to an enchanting transformation into a striking woman - Minoes, a creature of dual existence, possessing a woman's form but a cat's soul. Despite her newfound humanoid appearance, Minoes is cast out from her former feline family, repulsed by her alien scent. Nevertheless, she navigates this new existence with a mix of awe and trepidation, her familiar city now an uncharted territory. A chance encounter on a rooftop brings her face-to-face with Tibbe, a diffident journalist in desperate need of a gripping story. Their mutual needs spark an unusual agreement: intriguing tales in exchange for a safe haven and a steady supply of fish.
