Plot

In the flickering nightlight of her career, popular TV anchorwoman and midnight DJ, Ko Sun-young (Soo Ae), is ready to leave her late-night microphone for the quiet halls of retirement. Her decision is driven by the pressing need to care for her ailing daughter, Eun-soo, who awaits a life-saving heart surgery in America. On Sun-young's last night beneath the broadcasting limelight, her sister Ah-young steps in as the caring guardian of Eun-soo at home. As Sun-young dips her voice into the airwaves one last time, a chilling text message shatters the calm of the night. The message stems from a man named Han Dong-soo (Yoo Ji-tae), a self-proclaimed fan with a sinister twist. Dong-soo, a man whose sanity teeters on the brink, has infiltrated Sun-young's apartment, leaving Ah-young unconscious with a chilling precision. Yet, he fails to find the hidden Eun-soo, cowering in the shadows of a closet. With her family under the cold grip of this intruder, Sun-young is thrust into a terrifying game of cat and mouse. Dong-soo, controlling the chessboard from the shadows, commands Sun-young to play a specific list of songs on air. In this deadly symphony, each song is a pawn, each note a moment of suspense. Should she refuse or seek the help of the police, her family's lives hang in the balance. In the haunting echo of the Midnight FM, Sun-young must navigate through this nightmarish reality, obeying Dong-soo's instructions while keeping the façade of her regular late-night show. Stark terror cloaks the studio as tension escalates, turning her swansong into a desperate fight for survival.
