American Graffiti (1973)

The heady summer of 1962 is coming to a close. Curt Henderson and Steve Bolander have just graduated from high school and are about to go to college on the East coast. Steve is ready to leave but Curt isn't so sure. He and his friends decide to go cruising around town for one last joyride. The most exciting part of the night is when a mysterious blonde bombshell in a white T-bird drives past Curt and mouths "I love you" to him.
