Plot

In the underbelly of society, where decency takes a backseat, Divine, alias Babs Johnson, reigns supreme as the filthiest person alive. She nests in a secluded trailer in the woods, sharing her unique life with her egg-obsessed mother Eddie, her offbeat hippie son Crackers, and her companion Cotton. Their unsightly lifestyle is a beacon of unorthodox freedom, a testament to their proud claim to infamy. However, in the shadows lurk Connie and Raymond Marble, a rival duo seething with envy and a malevolent ambition to usurp Divine's controversial title. The Marbles' dark world revolves around abducting female hitchhikers, forcing them into motherhood only to sell the newborns to eager gay and lesbian couples. The profits they reap fuel a sinister operation - distributing heroin in local schools, further tainting the innocence of youth. In their desperate bid for the crown of filth, the Marbles employ Cookie, seducing her into their nefarious scheme. Her mission: to infiltrate Divine's household by seducing Crackers, and to expose their raw, unfiltered world. As the clandestine competition intensifies, the Marbles soon find themselves entangled in a ferocious battle with Divine. Unleashing a whirlwind of audacious antics, each party strives to outdo the other's depravity, ultimately setting the stage for a showdown of the filthiest. When the dust settles, will the Marbles grasp why Divine holds her coveted title, or will they dethrone the reigning queen of the grotesque? In this captivating tale of unconventional rivalry, only the dirtiest will triumph.
