In the provocative tale of Master and Man, we encounter Hyun-dae and Min-ju, lovers tangled in a passionate, two-year liaison. When Hyun-dae impulsively announces his impending nuptials, Min-ju exits their affair with an icy indifference, leaving scars that Hyun-dae struggles to heal. His memories of Min-ju permeate his new life, often surfacing during intimate moments with his wife.
Despite his emotional turmoil, Hyun-dae continues to magnetize the women in his orbit. From a married student enrolled in his academy course, to an old college friend, to a curator, all remain entranced by their impassioned encounters with him, unable to erase the memory of their shared nights.
Meanwhile, Min-ju embarks on a new journey with Hoon, her refuge after the break-up. However, she harbors resentment towards Chul-soo, who six years prior, pledged to divorce his wife and weave a new life with Min-ju – a promise still unfulfilled. Amidst her anger, echoes of Hyun-dae continue to haunt her thoughts.
