Plot

In the unsettling aftermath of a horrific field trip tragedy, three grieving parents, Faith (Iza Calzado), Julio (Zanjoe Marudo), and Stella (Jodi Sta. Maria) find their world shattering into a thousand shards of despair. Their daughters, the innocent Maria, Leonora, and Teresa, were the only casualties of a dreadful bus crash, transforming an everyday excursion into a nightmarish reality. As the veil of sorrow threatens to suffocate them, they find an unlikely beacon of hope in the form of a psychologist, Manolo (Cris Villanueva). Seeking to help them navigate the tumultuous seas of their grief, Manolo presents each parent with an eerily lifelike doll, a mirror image of their dearly departed daughters. Despite the oddity of this unconventional therapy, Faith, Julio, and Stella clutch onto these replicas, desperate to keep the memory of their children alive. However, the tranquility of this peculiar solace is short-lived. As they grapple with their grief, a series of strange and deadly incidents begins to unfurl around them. The shadow of an unseen menace looms, tied inextricably to the dolls they've come to cherish. Dismissing the chilling warnings that these toys are more than just mere playthings, the parents are thrust into a spine-chilling reality where their daughters' replicas seem to play host to a malevolent force. "Maria, Leonora, Teresa" is a haunting exploration of grief and the uncanny, where the line between the living and the dead blurs, and the dolls' innocent facades mask a terrifying secret that threatens to consume all in its path.
