Once a kind young woman coming of age in a tranquil forest Kingdom, Maleficent stepped forward and became the peoples’ most savage defender following a raid by a group of merciless interlopers. But, she was betrayed and that betrayal caused her heart to turn to stone. Now, the King’s successor wants her head, but Maleficent strikes first by laying a curse on his newborn child Aurora. Ironically, as time passes, Maleficent begins to understand that Aurora may very well be the one to bring peace back to the land and contentment back into her heart.
