The Ring (2002)

Divorced young mother and journalist Rachel begins to investigate the mysterious death of her niece, which happened after the girl viewed an allegedly cursed videotape. Rachel watches the tape as well and begins to believe that her life may be in danger. As she and her ex-husband delve deeper into the mystery behind the tape, it becomes clear that neither they nor their son are safe from supernatural forces.
