Plot

In the heart of the city of love, Paris, resides Martha, an octogenarian Canadian ex-dancer whose steps have been slowed by time, but whose spirit remains undaunted. Her independence is threatened when she faces the prospect of being moved to a nursing home, a fate that she fiercely resists. In her hour of need, she places a transatlantic call to her niece Fiona, a quiet librarian in Canada. Upon Fiona's arrival in the French capital, however, Martha has vanished as mysteriously as an autumn leaf carried off by a gust of wind. A series of unfortunate events follow, leaving Fiona bereft of both her identity documents and money, a predicament that occurs with a dramatic plunge into the Seine. Alone and desperate in a city renowned for its romance and elegance, Fiona finds herself lost in Paris. Just when desperation threatens to consume her, Dom, a man whose home is a humble tent on the Île aux Cygnes, enters her life. Dom, a homeless man, is a wild card. He is unfiltered, fearlessly expressing every emotion and thought, a combination that causes a whirlwind of chaos in Fiona's already complicated life. "Lost in Paris" is a tale of unexpected adventures and peculiar friendships, spun in the vibrant backdrop of Paris, as Fiona navigates through her predicaments with the help of her enigmatic new acquaintance. As the plot unravels, the city of love prepares to witness a story of resilience, kinship, and a dash of chaos.
