A professional assassin takes out a beloved, successful French coach at the World Cup semi-final. The assassin also steals the Pink Panther diamond ring from the coach's dead body. Investigator Jacques Clouseau is assigned to the mysterious case. The police department doesn't have much faith in Clouseau, but the investigator is bound to prove them wrong.
