Plot

Embodying the vibrant cultural clash between India and the U.K., "Little John" tells the enchanting tale of Vani, an Indian-born woman, who finds her heart entangled with the U.K.-born John. However, their love story is not one welcomed by Vani's family. In a bid to win their approval, John seeks the assistance of a mystical Swamiji, hoping his magical prowess can render him invisible and help him change their minds about him. However, the enchantment veers off course, morphing John into a Tom-thumb sized figure, a diminutive version of himself. The Swami's powers, it seems, are not without their quirks. The magic can only be reversed by a particular ring, leaving John embarking on an adventurous trek. A journey that, in his reduced state, presents challenges as towering as the Himalayas themselves. In a parallel narrative, a foreign researcher, wrongly accused by the police of stealing a precious Indian temple ornament, finds himself ensnared in this magical mayhem. His desperate attempts to evade the police lead him to seek the Swamiji's help as well, intertwining his fate with that of the miniaturized John. "Little John" is a whirlwind of cultural contradictions, magical mishaps, and unexpected alliances. It's a journey where love, intrigue, and the supernatural collide, creating a film as captivating as the enchanting land in which it is set.
