Plot

In the secluded brilliance of a rustic mansion by the sea, Jane, an ambitious zoology student, embarks on a journey of scientific discovery and peril. Recruited as an assistant to Phillip, a dedicated animal researcher, she finds herself ensnared in a world where the boundaries between man and beast blur. The mansion, filled with the echoing chatter of chimpanzees, harbors an unusual occupant - Link, a remarkably intelligent orangutan, aging at 45 years yet fierce in his primal instincts. Phillip's research takes a grim turn when he plans to end Link's life. However, one fateful morning, Phillip inexplicably disappears, leaving Jane alone with the creatures and the mansion's eerie solitude. Link, seizing control, begins to display an unsettling shift in behavior, growing increasingly aggressive and assertive. He cunningly obstructs Jane's attempts to communicate with the outside world, cutting her off from the neighboring village and blocking her use of the telephone. The atmosphere in the mansion grows steadily more ominous as Link's dominance becomes apparent. When Jane dares to challenge him by locking him out, the orangutan's wrath is unleashed, turning the once peaceful sanctuary into a battlefield of survival. The plot weaves a thrilling tale of man's struggle against nature's raw intelligence, and the unforeseen dangers that lurk when the line between the two is crossed.
