Haunted by the horrific railway catastrophe that claimed her parents' lives and stole her voice at the tender age of thirteen, Martha Caldwell now lives under the protective wing of her Uncle Ralph in the rustic serenity of the Spanish countryside. Her life, however, is once again thrown into a maelstrom of terror when her cousin Jenny suddenly arrives, only to meet her end at the hands of a savage killer seemingly possessed by a lurid obsession.
