Keys to Tulsa (1997)

Born into affluence, Richter Boudreau (Eric Stoltz) finds himself navigating a life of disappointment and disarray in the heart of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Despite his privileged background and a cushy job as a film critic at a local newspaper, procured through the influence of his influential mother Cynthia (Mary Tyler Moore), Richter is a ship adrift on the sea of life. He faces the looming specter of unemployment due to missed deadlines, a crumbling farmhouse for a home, and a mounting debt that has already claimed his electricity. Adding to Richter's woes is his tangled web of personal relationships. He is haunted by the remnants of his love for Vicky (Deborah Kara Unger), a disowned socialite now married to the ruthless drug dealer, Ronnie Stover (James Spader).
