Kaante (2002)

In the shadowy underbelly of Los Angeles, on an otherwise unremarkable day, a truck vanishes into thin air, sparking a chain of events that would forever intertwine the fates of six South Asian men. Handpicked by the law for their shared ethnic origins, they are: Yashvardhan Rampal, an educated, intelligent man known as 'Major', unemployed, burdened by a sick wife yearning for their homeland; Jay Rehan, the non-English speaking, quick-triggered 'Ajju'; Marc Issak, a former nightclub bouncer with an explosive temper; Raj Yadav or 'Bali', a foul-mouthed, stuttering, womanizing drug dealer; his loyal sidekick, Maqbool Haider, known as Mac; and Anand Mathur, or 'Andy', a white-collar worker battling financial problems and a fractured family.
