Plot

The year is 1870, a mere three years after the Civil War's tumultuous end. An ancient, forsaken mine undergoes a sinister transformation into a formidable military stronghold under the direction of a morally bankrupt Mayor (Stephen Lang) and his ruthless band of outlaws, led by the malevolent Reb (John Lewis). This band of renegades, part of a larger, obscure network, is feverishly plotting to rekindle the flames of the Civil War, their thirst for power and vengeance unquenchable. Amidst this brewing storm, U.S. Marshal James McCord (Nathan Parsons) rides into town. His arrival, however, is marred by tragedy—the town's priest, his own brother (Jackson Rathbone), has been brutally murdered. Aided by the local teacher (Jamie-Lynn Sigler), who harbors her own secrets, McCord embarks on a perilous quest for justice. His relentless pursuit of the truth leads him into the heart of the outlaw-infested stronghold, setting the stage for an inevitable, explosive confrontation. As the mystery of his brother's death unravels, McCord finds himself embroiled in a life-or-death struggle that transcends personal vengeance. The survival of the town, the legacy of the fallen, and the future of a nation hang in the balance, turning his quest for justice into a fight for a cause far greater than he could have ever anticipated.
