Jonah Hex (2010)

Jonah Hex is a Confederate soldier in the American Civil War. When his commander, Quentin Turnbull, orders him to burn down a hospital and kill innocent people, Hex rebels and ends up killing the commander’s son. After the war, Turnbull tracks down Hex and murders his family. Hex is beaten and branded in the face with a hot iron. Left for dead, he survives and obtains paranormal powers after being healed by Indian magic. Hex can resurrect and speak to the dead. President Grant then taps Hex to thwart a master plot to destroy the U.S. with a superweapon.
