The Legend of Zorro (2005)

Alejandro de la Vega is an aristocrat who used to protect the poor and vulnerable as the masked vigilante Zorro. He's since settled down with his wife Elena and raised a son, but he's had trouble giving up the mask. But when he discovers a plan to resist California's ratification as a state, his curiosity gets the better of him. Elena finally gives up and leaves him. Zorro struggles to put away the mask and focus solely on his family, but he's also discovered that his estranged wife's new love interest has shady ties to the very conspiracy he's unraveling.
