Ingrid Goes West (2017)

After an extended and violent stay at a mental hospital for attacking another woman, Ingrid takes the inheritance she received from her mother and makes the move out to Los Angeles. She uses the suitcase of money to build a new life for herself — but without friends in the city, she soon begins stalking an Instagram personality and ingratiating herself into her life. Soon, Ingrid is mimicking the style and behaviors of her new best friend, but it's not a charade that she can keep up forever. When the world comes crashing down around Ingrid, she'll be forced to decide who she wants to be.
