Lars and the Real Girl (2007)

Lars Lindstrom has always been awkward and shy, but his family begins to get concerned when he starts dating a doll. But while his girlfriend may be an inanimate sex doll, he seems to have a richer and more fulfilling relationship with her than something merely sexual. His brother and sister-in-law are especially concerned, but the whole town seems to have a lot of love for Lars. They begin to accept his eccentricity as normal, and he slowly seems to open up to them. Hopefully, Lars' girl can help Lars make a transition into a more fulfilling and open life.
