In the Loop (2009)

This is a comedy satire about a very serious subject. The U.S. president and the U.K. prime minister want to start a war, but everyone is not in favor it the plan. To stop the war, diplomats in the U.S. and the U.K. work together to create fake meetings and documents and spin information through leaks and doctored documents to influence the voters in the United Nation on the issue. Through whatever means possible they want to stop an unnecessary and disastrous war. Will they be able to influence the vote or will the world be plunged into a new war?
