The X Files: I Want to Believe (2008)

Mulder and Scully’s X-Files are back when they are called by the FBI to investigate the kidnapping of an agent. The latest information comes from a former priest who is having visions of the kidnapped agent. Mulder’s expertise with the paranormal is needed to solve the case and Scully is needed to convince Mulder to participate. The former priest claims he is getting messages from God about the kidnapped agent. Mulder wants to believe he could help but Scully is discussed by accusations of the priest’s pedophilia. When a second woman is kidnapped, the priest tells Mulder, don’t give up. Mulder needs to convince Scully to continue the investigation.
