Antz (1998)

Z toils as a worker ant in a colony. He finds himself anxious and depressed. At a bar, he meets the princess of the colony and falls in love with her. Z later replaces his friend Weaver in the ant army. A battle between termites and ants leaves Z as the only survivor. With his last words, his commander tells Z to think as an independent ant. Returning home, Z is heralded as a hero for surviving the battle. He somewhat accidentally kidnaps Princess Bala to avoid being outed as a worker ant. From there, the pair attempt to journey to an insect paradise.
