In the heart of the city, two frustrated souls, Nick Smith and Natalie Russo, struggle with their unfulfilling love lives. Nick, a gifted architect undervalued by his miserly employer, dreams of starting his own firm alongside his colleague Joe Yablonski. He constantly fends off his mother's well-meaning but futile matchmaking efforts. Natalie, on the other hand, labors hard to keep her mother's ailing Italian restaurant afloat, all the while fending off the romantic advances of Mario, the charming but unreciprocated Italian chef. Their worlds collide in a serendipitous moment at a mystical love fountain, where they each toss a coin with a silent wish. Unbeknownst to them, the fountain's magic ignites a connection, programming them to dream of one another as enamored lovers for seven nights. These dreams intensify their yearning to meet in reality, yet they grapple with the uncertainty of whether their dream-lover truly exists. As the week unfolds, Natalie's restaurant begins to thrive, thanks to Mario's flirtatious charm, while Nick inches closer to his dream of establishing his own firm. On the last magical night, their paths cross, yet professional priorities vie for their attention, creating a tantalizing tension. With the clock ticking and the mystical window of opportunity closing, the star-crossed dreamers must decide whether to chase their dreams or let them slip away into the ether of the night.
