Household Saints (1993)

This film brings Italian-Americans into the spotlight by focusing on three generations of a family through the 1950s and 1960s. With their Catholic faith playing a big role, we see the internal struggle of the effects that religion has on us from a young age. With each generation having a different upbringing, this movie focuses on the differences within the individual and not representing just the expectations members of that culture may have.
