Hold the Dark (2018)

Russell Core's knowledge of wolf behaviors brings him the attention of grieving mother Meldora Sloane. Her son has gone missing, and many of the locals believe that he's been eaten by wolves. Core and Meldora begin to work together to track down the wolves that took away her child, but a strange and tense relationship begins to develop between the two of them. It's a relationship that will be thrown into a tailspin when Meldora's husband comes home and learns of exactly what's happened. Core will find his knowledge of both wolf and human behaviors tested as a reckoning arrives.
