In the heart of the frost-kissed mountains, within a secluded cabin, newlyweds Alex and Alice orchestrate a New Year's Eve gathering. Alex, a lawyer-turned-struggling-playwright, and Alice, a woman cloaked in her own insecurities, invite their closest friends, all carrying their own complex baggages. The guest list includes Don and Lynn, a pair of mismatched souls - he, a penniless writer with grand but doomed business aspirations, and she, a powerful lawyer oblivious to her escalating dependence on alcohol. Then there's Steven and Eve, a lawyer and his pregnant wife who candidly admit to seeking marriage counseling. Lastly, there's businessman Nick, who, amid the ruins of his love life, arrives alone after leaving his wife for a younger model and subsequently facing the demise of that relationship. As the night unfurls, their carefully constructed veneers crumble, revealing a tapestry of open and concealed relationship dysfunctions. These are set against the backdrop of Alex and Alice's seemingly idyllic marital bliss. Yet, their marriage too, is riddled with hidden fractures, threatening to shatter under the weight of their own secrets. The delicate balance teeters on the edge of chaos with the unexpected arrival of Helena, a British model with a past dalliance with Alex. Known only casually to the couple as one of Eve's bridesmaids, Helena becomes the catalyst for the unraveling of the couples’ intricate web of relationships. As the clock ticks down to the New Year, the cabin becomes a simmering cauldron of tension, unspoken truths, and burgeoning discontent, threatening to bring everyone's worst fears to light.
