Adam & Steve (2005)

In the pulsating heart of the Goth scene, teenagers Adam and Rhonda are immersed in a world of club life and dark allure. When Adam's gaze is captured by a mesmerizing dancer, he finds himself drawn into a whirlwind of desire and illicit substances. However, their steamy encounter is abruptly halted by a mortifying mishap, causing the dancer to depart hastily. As fate would have it, years later, Adam inadvertently injures his pet and rushes to a hospital, where he meets a psychiatrist with a past in veterinary medicine - Steve. Their paths intertwine in a dance of love, while Rhonda, Adam's enduring confidante, finds herself entangled with Steve's heterosexual roommate. The rhythm of their lives is disrupted, however, when Steve makes a startling realization. The ghost of Adam's past returns to haunt him as Steve recognizes Adam from their awkward Goth club encounter years prior. Fearful of rejection, Steve withdraws from their blossoming romance, leaving Adam grappling with the remnants of their shared past and an uncertain future.
