Plot

In the heart of a tumultuous society, Preeti Virat, a young woman both innocent and audacious, courageously steps forward as the lone witness to a brutal assault orchestrated by the infamous Bhavani Choudhry and his gang. When the victim, succumbing to the relentless threats of the Choudhry family, retracts his complaint, all charges against Bhavani are dropped, and he walks free. The liberated Bhavani's vengeance finds a target in Preeti, who is brutally violated by one of the Choudhry men. Preeti's life takes a tragic turn as her own family, steeped in societal stigma, disowns her, turning her into an outcast overnight. However, hope illuminates her path in the form of Avinash, a compassionate man who offers her not just shelter but also a sense of belonging. As Preeti attempts to rebuild her life within Avinash's apartment, the neighborhood's disapproval crescendos, demanding her eviction. The only solution that presents itself is a marriage between Preeti and Avinash, to which she consents, only to be confronted by more complexities. She is left pondering over the two children who endearingly refer to Avinash as "daddy", raising questions of another woman's existence in his life. As Preeti navigates this labyrinth of emotional turmoil, she is blindsided by her arrest under charges of prostitution, a complaint shockingly filed by Avinash's own father. "Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai" is a poignant saga of a woman's resilience amidst adversity, inspired by the Telugu film "Pelli Chuskundam." As the narrative weaves the lives of Preeti and Avinash, it explores themes of societal prejudices, familial bonds, and the transformative power of compassion.
