Plot
A contemporary take on Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’. The old Italian city of Verona is replaced by the American Verona Beach, and the two noble families, the Capulets and Montagues, are now two rival gangs. Romeo (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Juliet (Claire Danes), remain two star-crossed lovers, who amidst family feuds, hope to find a way to be together. It is only after they tragically end their lives, that the families opt for peace.
