Plot

In the high-stakes world of the 1966 Formula One Championship, audacious drivers from every corner of the globe converge, their destinies intertwined on the razor's edge of speed and danger. Among them is Pete Aron, an American maverick known for his daring exploits on the racetrack. However, Pete's world spirals downwards when a catastrophic crash at the illustrious Monaco race injures his British teammate, Scott Stoddard, and results in Pete's dismissal from his prestigious Jordan-BRM racing team. Undeterred by the setback, the resilient wheelman refuses to throttle down, finding a new opportunity in the Japanese Yamura team. But as Pete navigates the twists and turns of his professional career, he's simultaneously ensnared in an incendiary love affair with his former teammate's estranged wife, adding fuel to an already intense rivalry. Pete's greatest challenge, however, comes in the form of the suave French champion, Jean-Pierre Sarti, a two-time world title-holder who stands as a daunting rival on the track. As the engines roar and the tension mounts, Pete must confront his personal and professional demons, all while attempting to outpace the competition in a thrilling championship where the margin between triumph and disaster is slimmer than a hairpin turn. "Grand Prix" is a pulse-pounding saga of ambition, rivalry, and the relentless pursuit of victory, set against the glamorous and dangerous backdrop of international motorsport.
