Plot
Pierre, a solitary 60-year-old oil rig technician, carries the weight of past choices and regret. His life, once colored by the love of his late wife, whose mental decline he regrettably neglected, and the enchanting concert pianist Florence, whom he abruptly abandoned, has been reduced to the company of a stray cat he's taken under his wing. This misanthropic existence is abruptly disrupted when a peculiar accident confines him to a hospital bed. Although repulsed initially by the sterile surroundings and his newfound helplessness, Pierre is unaware that this despised hospital room is poised to become his unlikely crucible for rebirth and redemption.
