Geostorm (2017)

This is a science fiction adventure story about two estranged brothers who are called upon to save the world. A group of satellites was launched as a joint effort to save the world from the natural disasters that are caused by climate change. After functioning properly for three years, and controlling the extreme weather conditions from destroying the world, the satellites start to cause dangerous weather patterns. Instead of protecting the earth, they may become the cause of a catastrophic storm that destroys the earth. Will the brothers be able to work together to find and fix the malfunctioning satellites?

Geostorm is an action movie featuring Gerard Butler and directed by Dean Devlin.
