In the haunting continuation of the Casteel saga, we follow the journey of eighteen-year-old Annie Stonewall, an aspiring artist, crippled by an accident that stole her parents and the use of her legs. Annie, now paralyzed and orphaned, is also entwined in an intricate familial web with Luke Casteel. Separated by blood but bound as half-siblings and best friends, their relationship adds a layer of complexity to their growing up in Winnerow, West Virginia.
