Once accused of a gruesome triple homicide, Sean Veil has spent the last decade in a state of hyper-paranoia, his every waking and sleeping moment recorded on film to provide a solid alibi should he ever be accused again. His grisly past and constant need for self-surveillance has made him an infamous figure, with Saul Seger, a once-small-time psychologist who has since risen to fame as a forensic profiler and author, using Veil's case as his stepping stone to stardom. Seger's persistent public accusations against Veil have only fueled the latter's paranoia, while reporter Katie Carter remains one of the few who believe in Veil's innocence.
