Sinister (2012)

Ethan Hawke stars as Ellison Oswalt, a novelist whose talent has temporarily abandoned him, in this gripping horror film. Not doing much writing, Oswalt decides to screen some Super8 movies he’s discovered in a box in his new home. What he sees in those films sends his family on a collision course with a supernatural entity.
