Plot

Jon's life in a sleepy coastal English town is peaceful, but he has dreams of becoming a songwriter. But a witnessed tragedy turns into an opportunity when an attempted suicide attempt leads Jon to meeting a local and charismatic producer. Soon, he's performing as a part of their band. Most are hesitant of Jon's presence at first, but eccentric bandleader Frank welcomes him with open arms. Frank always wears a papier-mâché mask over his head, but the band is soon gaining enough traction to get booked at major festivals. But Jon questions whether their fame is thanks to their talent or a fascination with Frank's quirks.
