Plot

In the heart of the city, Anna Marchant, a cherished elementary school teacher, leads a tranquil existence with her beloved boyfriend, Bryce. Her life is a well-balanced cocktail of work, love, and periodic gatherings with her closest confidants, Francine and Nina. However, this normalcy shatters when, during a casual stroll across a bridge to meet Bryce, she stumbles upon a horrifying sight: an infamous serial killer ruthlessly claiming another victim. Running for her life, she is attacked, causing her to fall from the bridge, hitting her head. Anna spirals into a week-long coma, awakening to a chilling reality. The attack has left her with a peculiar brain damage, inducing Prosopagnosia, a harrowing condition where faces morph into unrecognizable masks, even those of her dearest ones. She is left adrift in a sea of strange faces, every familiar feature now a bewildering puzzle. Throughout her ordeal, the determined police detective, Sam Kerrest, tries to coax out the face of the serial killer from Anna's damaged memory. His attempts, however, are in vain as Anna can't even recognize the faces of Bryce and her friends, let alone a murderer she encountered once. Simultaneously, the ruthless killer is acutely aware that Anna saw him, his face etched in a memory she can't access, and he is closing in. Now, Anna must navigate her disorienting world, where faces shift like sand under the relentless tide, while a lethal predator lurks in the shadows. A chilling horror-thriller, Faces in the Crowd presents a haunting dance of survival, memory, and terror in the face of unyielding danger.
