Designing Women (1986)

Designing Women tells the story of four main characters: Julia Sugarbaker, Mary Jo Shively, Charlene Frazier-Stillfield, and Suzanna Sugarbaker. The four women, along with their handyman Anthony, manage and work at a design firm. Julia must have things her way, Mary Jo lacks self-confidence, Charlene is a naive farmgirl, and Suzanna is a conceited former beauty queen. Together the women handle life and love as they embrace their differences.

Designing Women is a comedy show featuring Annie Potts and created by Linda Bloodworth-Thomason.
