Doctor at Sea (1955)

In a daring gambit to shatter the monotonous chains of his life as a junior general practitioner and escape the unwelcome siege of feminine affections, the young and charming Dr. Simon Sparrow (Sir Dirk Bogarde) embarks on an uncharted course. He enlists as a medical officer aboard the all-male freighter, "the Lotus."
