Plot

Former boxing titan Harry Agensky, fondly known as the Polish Prince, now finds himself grappling with age, widowhood, and the aftermath of a stroke. Fearful of his impending destiny in a retirement home, Harry persuades his son Lance and grandson Michael to accompany him on an unexpected adventure to Reno. He entices them with tales of hidden diamonds, his clandestine reward for succumbing to a fixed fight in his youth. Despite his skepticism, Lance seizes the opportunity for one final journey with his father. Their individual father-son complexes become the undercurrent of their expedition. The stakes rise amidst the glitter and gamble of Reno, leading them to a brothel where each of them confronts their internal battles with the unexpected assistance of a courtesan. As the trip unfolds, their quest for the elusive diamonds becomes a metaphorical journey into the heart of their fractured relationships. The question hangs heavy in the Nevada air - do the diamonds truly exist? Yet, an even more potent question simmers beneath the surface - can this shared road trip mend the tenuous bonds of their family? The 'Diamonds' sparkle not just in Harry's tale, but in their quest for connection and reconciliation.
