Californication (2007)

Author Hank Moody is a celebrated literary legend who seems to have lost his muse entirely. Writer's block has hit him hard, and he finds himself struggling to release his next major novel. It turns out that outside forces may have some role to play in this. He maintains a tentative relationship with his ex-girlfriend despite his continuous womanizing ways, and his relationship with his teenage daughter is also on the rocks. If it can help him focus his attention on his family and his own self-care, this bout of writer's block could actually turn out to be a good thing for Hank.
