In the bustling urban jungle of New York, a tightly-knit circle of friends maintains their connection through the digital tether of PCs, laptops, telephone lines, and fax machines. Immersed in their fast-paced lives, they find themselves too engrossed to meet in person. The story unfolds as Gale, the unseen cupid, orchestrates a blossoming romance between Jerry and Barbara through the static hum of phone calls and the mechanical whisper of faxes. Parallel to this, we have Martin, a man who forms an unexpected bond with a stranger named Denise, when she calls him with news that is as extraordinary as their unconventional friendship. As they continue to connect through digital keystrokes and distant voices, their story interweaves with the lives of the rest of the group. In this symphony of electronic communication, we witness the friends exchange their dreams, aspirations, and updates from their lives, all synced to the rhythm of their relentless typing. As the narrative progresses, Gale experiences an unsettling incident involving a phone, Denise shares another surprising update with Martin, and amidst all this, Frank gears up for a lavish New Year's Eve celebration.
