Plot

When renowned psychiatrist Dr. Elton Parkson is found strangled to death in his locked office, the police, with the tenacious Lt. Pat McKay at the helm, turn to their resident mental health expert, Dr. Everett Colner. Unsettling evidence — Dr. Parkson's desk drawers meticulously aligned on the office floor, untouched, and the doctor's lifeless body discovered in his closet — suggests the murderer is not just a criminal, but a deeply disturbed individual. Convinced that the killer is one of Dr. Parkson's own patients, Dr. Colner enlists the aid of the late doctor's nurse, Jean Smith, to sift through patient files for potential clues. Their investigation narrows the field to six prime suspects, each with their own demons. In an unconventional move, Dr. Colner gathers these six individuals for a psychological experiment, hoping to unearth hidden truths tied to the murder. However, his methods are far from transparent, leaving Lt. McKay questioning his strategy. As Dr. Colner ventures deeper into the labyrinth of the human psyche, he's confronted with the chilling reality of a killer whose motives are more sinister than mere bloodlust — a predator who kills for the sheer thrill of killing.
