In the wake of a tragic death, Dr. Ajay Kumar, struck by the injustice of a woman unable to afford life-saving treatment, abandons his plans for American immigration. Instead, he dedicates his life to constructing a haven of healing for the underprivileged, the "Amma People's Hospital".
