Plot

In the aftermath of their monumental battle against the menacing Naraku, the resilient warriors - Inuyasha, Kagome, Sango, Miroku, and Shippou - find themselves drifting on separate paths. Sango embarks on a quest to find her lost brother Kohaku, while Miroku returns to the comforts of his old home, and Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippou unite to collect the remaining fragments of the Shikon shards. However, their hard-earned tranquility proves fleeting as an ominous full moon ascends night after night, casting a foreboding glow that foreshadows an impending danger. In the shadow of this celestial specter, Kagura and Kanna set off on a perilous mission to unlock an ancient mirror that holds captive the queen of eternal night, Kaguya. Their task is to gather five mystical items and release them into the serene waters of the five lakes of Fuji, an act that will unleash Kaguya and her reign of unending darkness. The release of Kaguya presents a looming threat to Inuyasha and his companions, forcing them to confront this new adversary. They find themselves thrust back into the fray, their destinies intertwined once more in a battle against a foe whose power could shroud the world in eternal night.
